MBM Framework

The mbmFramework is a module for Blitzmax, written to handle a lot of mundane tasks and to provide serious and robust functionality – leaving you to get on with writing your game code.

These screenshots are using 100% pure programmer art! So if this is what it looks like now, imagine how it could look In the hands of someone with a modicum of graphic ability!
Like all code of this nature, it’s a growing and evolving product but it’s based on years of hard work and experience gained from developing a similar system for Windows and DirectX, written entirely in C++. This time around, I’m using the productivity and cross platform nature of Blitzmax to make this framework the foundation I always wanted.

It’s free to use! If you’re a hobbyist or a student there’s no charge for using this framework. If you’re a commercial developer (or would just like to own the source code anyway) there is a one-off registration fee of 50 euros which gives you the freedom to write as many commercial games as you like with the security of having the source code at your disposal.
